Our story
Established in 2021, Superchido was built for friends, families and locals who want honest Mexican flavour in a colourful, relaxed room — from the street-side entrance to the open kitchen and sheltered courtyard.
As a Mexican restaurant in Seddon, we welcome guests from across Melbourne's inner west for weeknight tacos, long lunches, celebrations and nights that stretch from dinner into drinks at the agave bar.

The bar is part of the Superchido experience. Ice-cold Mexican beers, house Tromba pours, mezcal flights and margaritas that match the colour and heat of the kitchen — poured for long Seddon nights on Charles Street.
Tromba is our house tequila because it carries the craft, character and region we love in Mexican spirits — 100% agave, rooted in Jalisco, and poured across our margaritas, mezcal cocktails and sipping serves.
Try Tromba Blanco, Reposado or Añejo as a 30 mL pour, or explore the Tromba flight — three 20 mL tastes that map the range without leaving your seat.
For something more elevated, the bar also pours premium names including Clase Azul, 1800, Patrón and Don Julio — quality spirits for guests who want a memorable pour.
